Spiritual awakening

Today was hectic.  I sit here wondering what makes people do the things they do.  I have felt pain before but not to this extent she said,  I hurt all over, the worst is my spiritual pain that I face trying to comprehend how God allows a person to purposely hurt another like this.  well I tell her the bible is clear. " For our wrestling  is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers, against the whole-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Since she is new at the christian message I am gentle with my approach.  she goes on to say how she feels all these emotions that comes with unfaithfulness and is asking me to pray for her to intercede on her behalf that God covers her and keeps her sane.  I go on to explain that  his word says, " thou will keep thee in perfect peace who's mind is stayed on thee."

how many of us go through this type of pain silently because we don't want to seem weak, vulnerable to the world that our hearts are bruised.  As social workers we work with all sorts of individuals and this is what I am here for,  I help to teach skills needed to help with situations such as this and also to bring peace in families struggling to cope with every day issues.

"When he walked out and she moved in"

I have struggled with writing this piece because for so long I have been hurting. I have loved so hard and cried so hard that I tend to forget if there really is a happy place anymore.  When I met him, I thought that God had finally answered my prayer. To find your soul mate and be with the one that would truly open up your eyes to the wonders of this world. He looked me in the eye and promised to take care of me, he promised to love me forsaking all others till death did us part. TROPICAL STORM ERIKA HAS HIT THE ISLAND OF DOMINICA

Tropical storm Erica has hit the Caribbean Island of Dominica.  It is a small island located in the Lesser Antilles.  The government is calling on all those abroad to help and lend a hand to rebuild our beautiful nature island. While we already have saturated soil, there goes more bad weather approaching the island.  " According to Mr Alexander, a tropical wave is forecast to move across the Lesser Antilles by early tomorrow Saturday, 29 August 2015 “producing an increase in cloudiness, showers and possible isolated thunderstorms and unstable conditions are expected to linger until Sunday morning”. I urge my fellow citizens to take caution and evacuate if you are able to.  There are several gofundme accounts set up to assist the island.  There are also relief efforts for supplies, and I am sure there will be for water, and human assistance to rebuild.   Lets all come together to rebuild our country, there is no division in times of disaster.   The Prime Minister Skerrit gives
