#SafeHavenLaws

Under Michigan's  safe haven law , a person can anonymously surrender an infant within 72 hours of birth to an emergency service provider, like a hospital, police, or fire station.  Do we believe that people take advantage of this law so that they do not have to take care of their responsibility.  why are others taking advantage of the law and others not? If the law is there why do we  see so many cases of children being found on the sides of roads or in less that perfect conditions and locations?  How are these children doing #dayzafter? what is their life like? Do the moms feel bad for their decisions or have they just moved on? http://www.wzzm13.com/story/news/local/2014/07/28/report-newborn-baby-deserted-in-white-cloud/13271657/ http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/06/17/georgia-man-saves-baby-on-side-road-plays-gospel-music-to-calm-her/
