This article highlights the competing interests that can develop in public administration when elected officials are involved.  The conflicts can be intense and if not handled appropriately can result in terminations and lawsuits. Its been a few days, bear with me as I try to get familiarize with this avenue of expression.  well all is well. The song says : I can feel a break through coming my way, its a mighty move of God its gonna be a brighter day. well #Dayzafter I can feel better about the things that once held me back.  I am able to express myself and I can say that I know what the purpose is.  There is a reason things happen in our lives and we have to know the meaning of them.  This transitional Home will be a hope for mothers who have lost to the system.  Unless you have felt a loss like that you can possible understand the pain they feel and how to begin to help these women.  I want the home to be a safe haven for them, where they can receiving appropriate services for their individual situation.  Each situation is different and can't fall into the category, " one size fits all." #dayzafter #Dricashome

Today I received what I thought was the worst call a parent could get from a school.  Someone jumped to conclusion about my child and now she is emotionally bruised.  As public administrators we have to be trained how to pinpoint issues in children at such sensitive age.  To interrogate my child and accuse her without any testing is something I will not take lightly.  This type of profiling is not necessary and unwarranted.  Now because of your lack of judgment in a sensitive situation my child may need therapy to get over the hurt that you brought on her unnecessarily. #dayzafter #therapy

Well I listened to that inner voice and spoke wholeheartedly to my friend about his drinking, even though he has not called to say anything.  The bible says that we should restore each other gently, I believe that I was able to do that.  Most times the day after a bad day is when people reflect on the things that they have done. Even those days sometimes are too late to repair the damage.   I can't stand to see people make stupid decisions that can affect the children that I love. Its my special day soon and I have this great idea to one day own my very own transitional home for women and children.  I am daily figuring out how to get funding for this awesome project.  I want to do this in honor of my girls and their Birth mom. I figured out what I want to do with my life after I had the opportunity to volunteer in Biloxi, MS for spring break.  Helping the people of Biloxi really changed my mind on how much people are hurting.
